Arena Mobile Bar is a locally owned business located in Concord, California, offering a distinctive bar experience for events of all sizes. Whether hosting an intimate gathering or a large celebration for up to 400 guests, Arena Mobile Bar delivers exceptional service. They specialize in barrel-aged cocktails, craft cocktails, full wine offerings, and craft beers on tap. The owner sought assistance in branding the business, The main requirement is a letter mark that can be used as a main logo and also will be expanded to additional services that are in the making.
One of the requirements from Arena Mobile Bar was that the logo should be the letter mark. So, we decided to choose the letter "A" to represent the brand. The brand's emphasis on crafted and classic cocktails led us to draw inspiration from the Prohibition era, with the goal of creating a logo that feels both modern and sophisticated.
The "A" was inspired by the modern classic typeface Futura, with a subtle nod to a "Martini" glass shape integrated into the letter's counter. This fusion of classic and contemporary elements reflects the essence of Arena Mobile Bar's offerings.
Art Deco served as the primary design influence, with its clean lines and geometric shapes lending the logo a sleek, modern feel. The color palette centers around a rich peppercorn hue, complemented by an old-fashioned amber accent that brings warmth and vibrancy to the design.
For typography, we selected Semplicita as the primary typeface, which offers a friendly, approachable tone, while the secondary typeface, Sabon, adds timeless elegance and a sense of classic sophistication to the overall look.
